Went in to the unemployment office, as online registration requires a visit in person.
Had to fill out a half-page form and attach a copy of my resume and that was about all.
The lady working the front desk was quick, polite, and knowledgable. I was pleasantly surprised.
I hate this unemployment stuff. I need to find some kind of money making plan that does not interfere with my current job.

Dirty laundry (a.k.a. morning meeting)
Got to work about 7:30am for a 8am meeting. Made coffee, turned on the air conditioning, did some web surfing, clocked in at 8am sharp. The other guys show up around 8:05, boss offers to go get McDonalds for us (bonus!), so we call in the order, he goes to get it, gets back about 8:30am, meeting starts. (I won't get into the fact that the order from McDs was wrong, at least we got most of what we paid for if not what we ordered)
I have my list of issues from the week, and start going thru them. No one else is prepared at all so I get to drive the meeting. I bring up an issue, the boss tells us where we went wrong, the other guys lie and say they did it right and the customer was wrong. Standard fare.
Sometimes I think the sales guys don't realize that I can actually hear them when they talk to the customers. Not really worth the fight when they deny it, we go over the correct ways to do things anyway.
